The younger Mariah was named after the older Mariah. Her dad Chris Cini met Mariah Carey on her last Australian tour in 1998 and named his daughter after the superstar.

Mariah Carey presented Mariah Cini with a Santa hat in front of thousands of fans at Allphones Arena.

The final Mariah Carey Australian show is tomorrow night (January 5) at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.
