The Temper Trap are ramping up for the self-titled follow-up to their ARIA Award-winning, platinum-selling debut album Conditions.

They snuck out a beguiling taster track ‘Rabbit Hole’ recently, and now they deliver a strange set of Australian headlining dates – one show in Darwin and two massive double shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The band will play Darwin’s BassInTheGrass festival, two Opera House shows for Vivid LIVE, and two big Forum shows in Melbourne… and that’s it so far.

Tickets can be purchased from the BassInTheGrass.com.au, Ticketmaster for the Forum shows, and the Vivid LIVE site for the Sydney shows.

The Temper Trap will be released on May 18, with the first official single ‘Need Your Love’ out on March 27. Check out ‘Rabbit Hole’ below the dates.

The Temper Trap Tour 2012

Tuesday May 29 – Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Wednesday May 30 – Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Thursday May 31 – Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House
Friday June 1 – Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House For Vivid Live
