Groovin The Moo “regret to announce” that indie-rap-cover band Chiddy Bang have cancelled their slot on the roving regional festival “to focus on new TV and radio promotional opportunities for their upcoming album in the USA.”

Thankfully, their place will be more than filled by cheeky brats and Triple J 2011 Unearthed Winners Ball Park Music.

Promoter Stephen Halpin said in a statement, “To replace an act on the festival at this late stage is very difficult, so we are extremely grateful to have an act of the calibre of Ball Park Music join the tour at such short notice. Yes it’s annoying that Chiddy Bang have chosen to cancel but Ball Park Music are a fantastic live act and deserve all their current success.”

They join local and international stars of all stripes: 360, Adrian Lux, Andrew W.K One-Man-Party Tour, Beni, Big Scary, Bluejuice, City and Colour, Digitalism, The Getaway Plan, Gold Fields, Hermitude, Hilltop Hoods, Kaiser Chiefs, Kimbra, The Maccabees, Matt Corby, Muscles, Mutemath, Naysayer & Gilsun, Parkway Drive, Public Enemy, Purple Sneakers DJs, San Cisco and Wavves.

Bendigo has already sold out, but there are tickets available for from the Groovin The Moo website. Check out Ball Park Music performing in the Noise11 studio below.
