Black Sabbath Play First Australian Show For Perth

by Paul Cashmere on April 17, 2016

in Live,News

Black Sabbath played the first of the last of their Australia shows in Perth on Friday night.

Despite some technical issues with Tony Iommi’s guitar around ‘War Pigs’ the band gave a classic performance with all except one song from their first four albums from 1970 to 1974 and the oldest song being ‘Dirty Women’ from 1976’s ‘Technical Ecstasy’.

There was nothing in the Perth setlist from Sabbath’s 2013 album ‘13’ or any of the four new songs being sold as an EP from the merch stand at the gigs. (The band did play ‘God Is Dead’ on four US shows earlier this year).

Black Sabbath are on their final ever tour ‘The End’. This will be the last time they every play live in Australia.
